Meaning -
Within the art world we question a lot, what is the meaning of a pieces and we will forever wonder and ask questions. Once I resented this because I feel like the meaning is different for each individual however the meaning allows a viewer to resonate and relate to an artist so I will explain to you my artist meaning.
How I do my art :
My art is all about the moment and how I produces my art is through living in the moment. It's as if I'll get an idea then go straight to ceramics or straight to painting, it's almost like I'm consumed by the idea till I produce it.
what is my purpose :
My purpose is to produce a space for my audience that allows them, to feel as if they are in another world away from there problems and overthinking a space where they can have a head free of thoughts, I believe as people our minds are like hamsters in a wheel and we forget to stop and have a break making ourselves over worked and overthinking because we can't escape from our mind. So by me producing a world so familiar yet unfamiliar allows a viewer to forget and be part of a world that reminds them of good times and process happiness within them.
Where I produced my art :
With me being a multi medium artist I produce my work it multiple locations so there is not one set answer to this question. However, my studio is the heart to it all and is where all my art ends up and allows me to figure out how I want my installations to look.
Why I do my art :
Art to me is the truest form of expressionism, it allows me to truly express myself and be myself in the best way possible. It is as if I am transported to another world when I get into the zone, it's like a form of therapy to me and this is what I want my audience to feel towards my art. I don't only do art for my own escapism but to produces a form of esacapism for everone.
Who inspired me :
I am not necessarily inspired by a person or individual but the world around me and the objects within it. I draw inspiration from going into housing stores and garden centres; seeing what is best for the home and domestic spaces allows me to gather idea's for my own work.
when I produce my work:
Like How I produce my work when is just the same; when is whenever i get an idea or feeling it comes in the moment and though I'm a planner my art springs within the moment.
