Domestic set design is looking at art from a domesticated point of view; creating art in an environment that is familiar to a viewer yet still gives them the feeling of being in an art installation. Although the space feels familiar due to it being an installation/ set the viewer will not feel like they can interact with it and this is how the domestic and art is separated.
